Hiding a XP Computer from Network Neighborhood

If you want to share files from a XP computer but want to keep it from showing up in the Network Neighborhood. you can easily hide the computer by choosing Run command from the Start menu and typing the following command, and click OK to execute.

net config server /hidden:yes

To enable showing your computer in Network Neighborhood all you have to do is follow the same procedure and replace the "yes" at the end of the command above with "no"
