Request Receipts on Particular E-Mail Messages
To request a delivery and/or read receipt for a particular e-mail message
without changing the defaults for all e-mail messages, do the following:
1. While composing an e-mail message, choose "File" - "Properties".
2. When the "Properties" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, click the tab
"General".
3. As desired, check "Read receipt requested" and/or "Delivery receipt
requested".
4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
Note that not everyone honors return receipt requests. Of particular note: if a
user is not running Outlook 2003, their e-mail software probably will not honor
such requests.
